WeMake Magazine— A look into the Portland, Oregon Creative Scene

I love living in POrtland, and I love my community of designers, artists and makers. That's one of the reason I helped to found WeMake. We put out great stuff highlighting the wonderful talents of the people in the Portland creative scene. So we decided to put out a digital magazine to share with a larger audience. This first issue has exclusive interviews and awesome video's check it out!

Reblogged from WeMake

Design Week Portland is officially underway and a creative buzz is the air. What a perfect opportunity to announce our latest passion project: WeMake Magazine!
We are thrilled to put this digital publication for the iPad out into the world. WeMake strives to connect the creative community and spark passion through our events, speakers, and workshops. This magazine gives us another platform to connect and celebrate the creative community and share Portland's magic with the world.
Each issue will support our efforts to bring together the creative community through dynamic speakers and events, student scholarships, and more exciting projects throughout 2014.

In This Issue:
- We sat down with Project Runway winner and Portland fashion designer, Michelle Lesniak to learn more about her creative process and inspiration. This interview also includes an exclusive video feature!
Rory Phillips and Fred DiMeglio share their collaborative art series Versus: Heroes & Villains and discuss how they put a new spin on iconic characters.
- Get all the recaps on WeMake's events from 2013, and a preview of WeMake Celebrates, our biggest event of the year.
- Design and inspiration highlights including upcoming talent from Oregon's college and university design students, a peek inside the Portland Preservation Society, and more!
