Architect Clémence Eliard and artist
Elise Morin created
Waste Landscape,
"A Sea of Metallic Dunes". The installation, composed of 65,000 CD's were hand-sew together then laid over inflatable mounds to take over 1000 square meters in the
Centquatre art space (Paris), and will will be on display from July 21st to September 10.
It's awesome that they used unsold cd's to create this sweeping landscape. It really is quite beautiful and must be even more grandeur up close. Eventually the CD's will be recycled.
