I think it's awesome when artist bring unexpected beauty to the world around us. Artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera uses braided fabric to do just that. Her project, Visual Intervention is set against an urban backdrop of broken sidewalks and potholes throughout the city of Paris. Some of the compositions have such a lovely form, providing a nice contrast of bright and cheery against the grey backdrop. I love when the grass grows into the pieces too.
