DIY Paper Roses

I made these paper roses for a web banner for the infamous Pioneer Woman. I create her banners every month and this month I wanted to do something a little more up my paper craft alley :) They are really easy and fun to make and look so sweet on branches! Get step-by-step instructions over at my other site, Modern Handmades.

The Pioneer Woman is a blogger, author, photographer, chef, homeschooler and much more. She's awesome, check her out!

How do you get the flowers to stay wound up on the branches? I am trying to make a bouquet of these flowers using floral wire stems but they are not staying wound.

  3. Make sure your using card stock, I think using a shilling tool is the best, you cam buy it from a craft store. I just put the flowers right onto the branches and they stayed fine. Floral wire us much thinner, you may have to hot glue them on. To keep the flowers from falling out of the wound role them very tight. The. Shilling tool will help with this.
