A 3D Printed Car?

Urbee is the first 3D Printed car...that runs?! An engineering company has come up with the world's first 3D-printed car, Urbee. The two-passenger hybrid car has all its body parts made from 3D printers, including the glass panels. This printed vehicle runs on gasoline and ethanol, getting up to 200 miles to the gallon. Urbee is currently being displayed at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Urbee is designed by Kor Ecologic Inc. and is designed to be environmentally sustainable. This is because it can efficiently store and use exactly the amount of solar and wind energy you can collect on a one-car garage in one day. If you want to go farther in a day, you can use its ethanol powered engine.
